The EMKAY team was assigned the complete refurbishing project for the Etihad catering facility located at the Abu Dhabi International Airport. Housing over 30,000 people, it took the team a duration of 8 months to ideate, facilitate, and complete the entire project. Along with renovating the building’s HVAC and Electrical Foundations from scratch, EMKAY also undertook transformer testing and modification of existing MBDs and SMBDs along with the installation of three new chillers adding up to a total of 2500 TR capacity and 14 MVA electrical load.
